Welcome to the website of the Thamesiders Model Railroad Group, A sub-division of the NMRA British Region.
The Thamesiders Model Railroad Group is a Sub-division of the Eastern Division of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) British Region. We are a small group of model railroaders, primarily from Essex, who met through the NMRA and decided to form a local group to further our knowledge and enjoyment of North American railroads , both full size and model.

The first Thamesiders MRG open day was successful. While the event was quiet we demonstrated our modular HO scale layout and a small N scale layout and raised a around £300  for St Andrew Church. Photos of the event can be seen in our gallery.

The first Thamesiders MRG Open Day will be held at St Andrew's Church Hall, Hatfield Peverel, Essex. On May 17th 2008 between 12:00 and 4:00 PM. Enterance is £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and Children 5 - 15. Tea, coffee and ligth refreshments will be available.
